Studies on the Ingredients

"Vitamin B12 ( Cobalamin ) is vital for healthy nervous system and aids in the production of DNA and RNA. It replicates and produces red and white blood cells. Recent studies have suggested that Vitamin B12 assists in lowering risks in developing breast cancer.
Vitamins B6 and B12, ( along with ) and { Vitamin } B9 ( Folic Acid ), lower the levels of an Amino Acid called HomoCysteine that is linked to brain-cell damage, similar to that is seen in Alzheimer patients."
Vitamin B12 ( Cobalamin ) is an Essential Vitamin, but our bodies can NOT produce it on our own. It is found naturally in animal products, such as meat, poultry, eggs and dairy foods.
Research indicates that as we grow older, for some particular reason, our bodies start to develop a difficulty absorbing the Vitamin B12 ( Cobalamin ) in its natural form. This condition is called "Malabsorption". This may even begin in many adults over the age of 50. This is due to changes in our Digestive System. This happens, because as we get older, our stomachs produce less stomach acid. Taking Antacids and Diabetes medications will exacerbate this problem.
This vitamin has an essential role in nerve cells and nerve function. Therefore, a lack or a deficiency in this nutrient, causes Anemia, Dementia, Depression and decreased Cognitive Function. Thus having an adequate supply of this critical vitamin may improve mood and fight symptoms of depression. Research shows that older adults who are suffering from memory loss are often lacking in sufficient amounts of Vitamin B12 ( Cobalamin ).
It is also necessary for the formation of red blood cells and for the synthesis of DNA. It may even support good bone health and prevent Osteoporosis ( low bone density ). This condition causes bones to become weak and brittle, subject to breaking. It may also reduce Macular Degeneration in the eyes, that affects central vision.
The B Vitamins are water-soluable. This means that they are NOT stored in the body. So we need to consume enough of them every day, or take supplements. The one exception is of Vitamin B12 ( Cobalamin ). Any excess your body has will be stored in the Liver.
