The HgH AMINO ACIDS in the GHR PLATINUM products contain these Five ( 5 ) Amino Acids in a Proprietary Blend:

  • L-Arginine
  • L-Glutamine
  • L-Glycine
  • L-Lysine
  • L-Tyrosine

GLUTAMINE - is one of EIGHT ( 8 ) Amino Acids that are called "Conditional". This means that the body can produce it. However, there are times when the ability of some people to do so, is limited or restricted. This could be as a result of certain health conditions or issues, which may exist in their bodies at the time.

Health researchers know that small dosages of taking the amino acid Glutamine can promote a significant increase in levels of HGH in the body. For example, studies have discovered that taking just 2 mg of this powerful amino acid could temporarily elevate Human Growth Hormone ( HGH ) levels by as much as 78%.

Glutamine is a precursor to making both the amino acid Arginine and the NeuroTranmitter Glutamate. So when you eat more proteins which contain Glutamine, or increase your intake through supplements, you help yourself to boost the levels of both substances in your body. And increases in both of these can then naturally stimulate and elevate the production and secretion of your own Growth Hormone ( GH ) in your Pituitary Gland. Research studies have shown that both Arginine and Glutamine stimulate the release of Growth Hormone.

So how does Glutamine work to cause a release of your Growth Hormone? The NeuroTranmitter Glutamate plays a pivotal role in stimulating the Somatotrophs in the Pituitary Gland. These are the cells in the Pituitary which cause the production and release of your Growth Hormone. Here is another research study which shows that Glutamine causes an increase in Growth Hormone levels:

There is an interesting connection between Growth Hormone ( GH ) and Fat Burning in the body. GH stimulates the breakdown of fats, through a process that is called "Lipolysis". This is when fats and other lipids are broken down to release fatty acids. Likewise, there is also a link between Growth Hormone and the metabolism of Carbohydrates.  This in turn affects levels of blood sugar. Thus this amino acid has important affects on both the Digestive processes and subsequent conversion of food nutrients into energy during metabolism. So it can also affect weight loss and glucose levels in the body.

Therefore maintaining adequate levels of Glutamine ( and Arginine ), which stimulate the production and release of more of your own natural Growth Hormone, in turns helps to improve the health of your whole body and well-being, both physically and mentally.

Then on the other hand, improving the metabolism of Carbohydrates and Fats in the body, results in weight loss or in maintaining healthy weight. This then enhances the production and release of ( more of ) your own Human Growth Hormone ( HGH ). Why is this so?

The reason is that research studies show clearly that excess body fat, especially BELLY FAT, adversely affects the production and secretion of Growth Hormone ( GH ). The amount of FAT that men and women carry in their bodies in their BELLIESnegatively and adversely affect the production of Growth Hormone ( GH ) that is made and released from their Pituitary Glands. Thus weightloss helps to improve the secretion of HGH. And more HGH helps to improve weight loss.

Glutamine, as a vital amino acid, promotes a healthy Brain Function. It is critical and necessary for the creation of both RNA and DNA molecules. Growth hormone promotes the process called "NeuroGenesis", which is when new neurons are created in the brain. It also supports the maintenance and functioning of existing brain cells.

In the same way, the levels of Growth Hormone ( GH ) affect the levels of NeuroTransmitters, which are critical to  many processes and activities in the body. They also regulate and balance your mood, and support various Cognitive Functions, such as concentration and memory. It so happens that Glutamine is a precursor to the NeuroTransmitters GABA and Glutamate.

Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the blood and in body fluids. It has several important functions. It is used to make proteins, produce energy, help with detoxification and removal of waste products from Metabolism, such as Ammonia.

Additionally, it is necessary for proper Digestive Function, good Intestinal health, and the regulation of Sugar. It is a source of energy for White Blood Cells and for growth and maintenance of certain cells in the Intestines. Thus this amino acid helps to maintain the barrier that is between the inside of the Intestines and the rest of the body. In this way, it enables you to maintain a healthy gut. This protects against getting what is called a "Leaky Gut". So it supports a healthy Immune System, which protects you from sickness, infection and disease.

Deficiencies of this amino acid often occur when there is too much stress, illness or severe injury. In such times, the body needs a LOT of Glutamine for wound recovery and for healing. It specifically requires this amino acid for repairing damaged tissues and cells.  Therefore, if the needs of the body for Glutamine become more than the body can produce on its own, it must obtain them elsewhere. Consequently, the body may break down proteins, such as those that are stored in the muscles, in order to release more of this amino acid. This is what sometimes happens when a person is sick or injured.

Excess stress causes an increase in the level of CORTISOL, which is often called the "Stress Hormone". Researchers also know that CORTISOL can inhibit the production of Growth HormoneSo by reducing stress, by having adequate levels of Glutamine - you also lower the level of CORTISOL, that blocks the very Growth Hormone you need and want.

Increased Plasma Bicarbonate and Growth Hormone After an Oral Glutamine Load

"An oral Glutamine load was administered to nine healthy subjects to determine the effect on Plasma Glutamine, bicarbonate, and circulating Growth Hormone concentrations.

Conclusion: "These findings demonstrate that a surprisingly small oral Glutamine load is capable of elevating alkaline reserves as well as plasma Growth Hormone ( GH )."

NOTE: There are Twenty Two ( 22 ) Amino Acids, which form the building blocks of proteins. These amino acids are therefore called "ProteinOgenic" ( Protein Creating ). They are divided into the following Three ( 3 ) Groups:

    • GROUP 1: ESSENTIAL

    • GROUP 2: NON-ESSENTIAL

    • GROUP 3: CONDITIONAL
